MONIQUE GALVÃO
Mezzo-soprano
Praised for her "stunning vocalism” and "fearless acting" by Voce de Meche and "fascinating dark color" by Parterre Box, Monique Galvão is establishing herself as an up and coming leading mezzo-soprano.
Highlights of the 2023-2024 season included her debut as Giovanna Seymour in Donizetti's Anna Bolena and Bianca in Britten’s The Rape of Lucretia with the Academy of Vocal Arts. Additionally Ms. Galvão performed in concert with guest artists Nadine Sierra and SeokJong Baek with Classic Lyric Arts in New York City.
